My family and I have had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff is first rate. The French chef cook deserves an A+ for the excellent bread made for breakfast.
We will again select Victoria Hoi An Beach Resort at our next stay.

My family and I were fortunate to be able to stay at this resort for 5 nights. It is situated on a lovely beach in a quiet location in Hoi An. The hotel is a fair distance from town but being away from is all is part of its appeal. There is a shuttle bus that goes fairly irregularly into town but we found it sufficient- there are more buses at night to cater for people going into town for dinner. We had adjoining sea view rooms which were tastefully decorated with a slight Japanese feel. The weather at this time of the year (late Dec) was wonderful for laying around by the pool and on the beach. Our children had a wonderful time joining the resident elephant for one of its evening baths (unbeknownst to them they were ceremoniously dumped by the elephant out in the ocean-great fun!).

The restaurant facilities are very limited and I wasn't very impressed by the food we had there (aside from breakfast, which was a fantastic buffet that catered for western and asian tastes) but go for a short stroll down the beach and you will find some cheap restaurants that serve adequate lunches. At night go into town on the shuttle bus where you will find some wonderful restaurants-we ate some of our best meals in Hoi An. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and will be returning here myself. A delightful place to take a break during our 3 week tour of Vietnam.

My new husband and I just had 7 wonderful days for our honeymoon at Victoria Hoi An resort. Our Delux waterview room was lovely (another review mentioned hard beds - true , but we found that everywhere in Vietnam). The staff were really friendly and would do all they could for us. The pet elephant 'Darling' wanders around the resort and is a constant source if entertainment. We were in the resort over christmas and enjoyed the most exquisite banquet and wonderful local dancers and Santa arriving on Darling before hand. Arriving back in our room christmas night was a lovely silk lantern wrapped up for us to take home. A perfect christmas celebration ! Every evening when we got in there was a lovely scroll with a local fable to read before bed. (A lovely touch). The beach is also gorgeous by the way..... A perfect holiday ! I could go on and on but must get back to work.... I wish I could get back to Hoi An !!!

My husband and i spent 4 nights in the victoria, the view were great, the staff were great, you were free to go anywhere, from the pool side bar to the elephant bar upstairs to play pool or go on the internet... there was unfortunately no elephant as we were told he had passed away.

we booked a couple of tours with the hotel but decided we did not need a guide. Our driver Bao was the nicest person there and we requested him for our second tour. We would highly recommend that anyone booking a tour with the hotel request Bao.

We were slightly disapointed with the restaurant however, we had planned on eating only Vietnamese specialties for our stay (we travelled around Vietnam for a couple of weeks) and found that the Victoria's restaurant only did Western food. The poolside bar had some spring rolls and such but nothing that was really as nice as what we got on the river front street, Bach Dang.

The peace and quiet at Victoria was really something else. We did not want to leave!! The staff were great, Thanks!

The Victoria Hoi An was fantastic. The hotel, the location and most of all the staff were wonderful.
